What do our players have to say?

Lucas has been a game master for me throughout several games over the past three-ish years.  I’ve had experiences with brand new game masters and game masters who have been running games their whole lives and if given the choice I would always pick Lucas.

Lucas is a generous DM who is keen to create a game with his players. Taking on-board player suggestions for house rules and implementing his own with his players approval. His inspiration never runs dry and even on days our main campaign has been sidelined due to player absence we have played small one shots that even off the cuff and last minute have never been short of incredible.

When we have D&D pencilled in to the diary it is my favourite part of the week. I get to create and experience stories with my closest friends being directed and narrated by a fantastic and visual storyteller whose passion seeps through into every bit of narration. Anyone who gets to experience being DM’d by Lucas would be as lucky as I am...

Apart from that one time he rolled four, yes FOUR, back-to-back Natural 20’s against my character in an arena fight!

Lucas is an engaging , imaginative and captivating story teller and brings these events to life! The kids loved him and we're in awe of his creativity. They also felt comfortable in his presence and supported as first time players.

It was a fun and alternative birthday event that I would definitely recommend!! The kids got to develop their characters & story in a world of fantasy play, had fun, and learned a lot. All of them were begging for more D&D events with Lucas afterwards.

And this was all in the comfort of our home, with an individualised theme around Stranger Things. It was good value for money for a full afternoon of imaginative play.

Playing D&D with Lucas as my Dungeon Master has been an outstanding experience. 

Over the past five years, I’ve had the pleasure of participating in several of his campaigns and every one has been memorable. Lucas is a natural storyteller and each session consistently leaves me excited and eager for the next.

Lucas is an experienced, thoughtful and well-prepared DM. He crafts rich worlds as well as compelling lore, which fully draws players into the game and creates engaging sessions. While his campaigns are carefully planned, he excels at adapting on the fly to player choices and interactions, ensuring the story always feels responsive and alive.

Just as importantly, Lucas fosters a welcoming and respectful table. He skilfully runs games for a wide range of players, from complete beginners experiencing their first session to seasoned Dungeons & Dragons veterans.

I would highly recommend Lucas as a Dungeon Master for any D&D group looking for an immersive, enjoyable and professionally run experience.

Lucas has DM’ed D&D campaigns for me and my friends for years. Our campaigns have always been really well balanced with role play, combat and engaging plot lines that suck you in every week. 

He’s so good at building what each player likes the most about D&D into their characters and each session. A master of homebrewing and always happy to take on player ideas!

Lucas DMs a fun game for large groups, sprinkling in things for everyone to do but also allows the players to take control and lets the game breathe.

I played as a human cleric as part of a good underground society in my backstory, Lucas fleshed out the order I made up and made it a reality in the game. While also giving me a small curse subplot, and giving everyone else at the table similar treatment.
